Rainline Music Personal Data Processing Policy

Data processed
Email; order and payment information (number, amount, currency and status); licence and activation records; device code; activation and last verification times; newsletter preferences and consent confirmation times; technical security information, including IP addresses and event times. Accounts store password hashes. The service does not receive your card number, expiry date or security code.
The plug-in derives the device code from a system identifier. The server receives an activation code; the original system identifier is not sent to the server by the plug-in.
Legal grounds
Data necessary to conclude and perform the contract with a buyer is processed to perform that contract and meet statutory obligations. Marketing emails rely on separate voluntary consent. Reading this policy does not constitute consent to marketing.
Purposes
Processing and fulfilling purchases, issuing keys, providing installers, managing activations, signing in and recovering access, technical support, verifying payments and service security. News and updates are emailed only with separate voluntary consent.
Third-party services
Payments are processed by Prodamus or Robokassa on the selected provider’s systems. The provider receives the purchase email, order number, product, total and currency. Prodamus may request a phone number on its payment page; the website can receive that number in the payment notification but does not save it in its database. Timeweb hosts the website and its database; email is sent through the configured mail service. Access is limited to the data required to operate each service. The payment provider's own documents also apply when you visit its payment page.
Cookies
Technical cookies support account sign-in, language preferences and form security. Your manual language selection is saved in the technical rainline_language cookie for up to one year. On a first visit, language may be selected using the IP address country and a locally stored IP-range list; your address is not sent to an external geolocation service. English is used if the country is unknown. You can change the selection using ENG/RU. This version of the website does not use advertising analytics or third-party advertising cookies.
Retention and protection
Purchase and activation records are kept to fulfil the licence and support the order. Data must not be retained longer than necessary for these purposes and legally required retention periods. One-time recovery passwords expire after 15 minutes and can be used once. Protection includes HTTPS, restricted administrative access, password hashing and encryption of keys and email bodies in the database.
Rights and requests
For access clarification, correction, deletion, stopping newsletters or other data requests, email contact@rainlinemusic.com with your account email and the request. You may be asked to confirm ownership of the email to protect account access. Requests are considered according to applicable requirements and any records that must be retained to fulfil obligations.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel your licence. Purchase, one-time password recovery and security emails may be sent independently of newsletter subscriptions.
